How could I say anything negative to her? Here she raised her hands to show the results of her chalk work, shortly before she needed to come in to eat dinner.

The hands smacked the ground to create chalk dust, which Tia found to be fascinating. She was told that when she did this it would in exactly this. Her response was, " that is OK."

As I thought about it, she was right. It was in fact OK. All that was needed was a good hand cleaning before we ate. Funny how things can be dealt with differently once viewed from another position, even if the laternative view comes from a child of only 3 years.

Tia's mom is away as this was written for 24 hours and I am in the meantime Mr. Mom - so far so good. It gives me time to spend with my daughter more intensively, and I think that is pretty cool.
