If you look at this blog let us know where you are!
I am in the process of trying to digitize photos from the pre-digital days so they are safe in case there is a physical loss of the paper upon which they now reside.
An added benefit is that I can share the material with others more easily, and they can get it and do with it what they like. If they want to print it out, fine. If they want to copy it to a hard disk or DVD that is also cool.
It seems that once things are digitized and placed onto the net that they have a life of their own which cannot be predicted.
Looking back is something that inevitably causes me to also look ahead. What can I do now to make it more likely that what I want to happen actually will happen? I have my ideas, but I am at the moment not willing to share them in a forum as open as this is.
It is enough to say that I believe that we can learn from the past.
