Neuenburg Christmas Musical 2005

Ev. Kirchengemeinde Neuenburg

3 Presentations of the event for the first time. Last year it had 2 presentations.

It was an event that had 3 main elements:

* A theatrical presentation - "DAS WEIHNACHTS-SUPER-SONDER-ANGEBOT"
A Musical von GERO PHILIPPSEN

* a Childrens choir (a part of the musical itself) which was directed by Steffi Mehrling, a gifted keyboardist with a very nice voice with whom I regularly perform music at the Neuenburg church

* live music from a band - which I ended up leading due to the illness of a previous leader. My main additional role was as guitarist and vocalist, with some conga.

The events were even better attended than I anticipated. To be honest, I thought that 3 presentations was one too many. As it turns out the first and the third presentation were basically as full as they could get. The hall had about 600 seats on the ground floor plus a small balcony, and then some standing room. This capacity seemed to be used up in two deliveries. My guess for the middle is that we had about 600-650.

This means that we had an audience of about 2200+over the two days - pretty significant for a small place like Neuenburg, Germany.
