Tia has a battle that is somehow unfair for all children whose birthdays fall within 5 days of Christmas on either side of the date. She nonetheless loved the time. Of course she loves getting gifts - and MANY thanks for all of the wonderful gifts! http://one.revver.com/watch/125568
What was interesting to me was the spiritual things Tia has been absorbing about the holiday, and about things Christian in general. In what may be the best way to share this I point you to an audio file I recorded as I heard her playing with a new doll she got. She was making the doll sing and so it is a lot of fantasy involved. But listen to the words that this new 5 year old is making up on the fly. I was particularly interested in her mention about the actual date of the birth of Jesus, which was likely in spring. I told her this as she asked a specific question about it. See if you can find her mention of it in this audio file: http://www.eefoof.com/audio/1698
She has another made up song in video form here: http://eefoof.com/video/7621
Christmas had the Kelley family busy. We spent some time with the Meihofer family and on Christmas Eve Brian was asked, shortly after arriving back in Germany to help with the music at the Christmas Eve service at our church in Neuenburg, Germany. Percussion and Guitar work followed.
We were not able to do a lot of filming as the cable for the mini-DVCAM we have got lost during our time in the USA. Hopefully what we offer here is enough multimedia.
