Sylvester in Markgräflerland

The day started off with some time at home followed by a lunchtime in Buggingen. Andy's brother Werner took part in a run called the "Britzingen Sylvesterlauf", which is an annual 10k event on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

Neuenburg

I later played the music at our church in Neuenburg with the trusty crew of Dieter Weng and Petra Wolfsperger. We had no time for practice so we winged it. We have nonetheless played together often enough so that it worked. The service was late today due to the holiday at 17:00 instead of the normal 9:00 and 11:00 services.

The three of us later had a comfortable meal of cheese Fondue at home and whiled the hours away until midnight listening to various concerts. Tia discovered that she loves "Destiny's Child". I discovered that I prefer to listen to something else.

Andy got nauseous sometime after dinner and so did not get to really enjoy the evening too much, but we did all get a chance to see the local fireworks shortly after midnight, even if most of it was from the upstairs windows.

I finally had the chance to wish to you all a wonderful New Year with God's blessings for 2007. Feel free to drop a note or leave a comment!
