Yesterday I had a meeting with the NLN team as well as with Nikita, (name changed) from a Central Asian country. She is in Switzerland and "coincidentally" met with my colleague Walter Kast. She has a media ministry in her home country, and Walter of course told her about what NLN has to offer.
NLN had previously given her several programs that she has been able to use to minister to Christians in her country. The programs have been well used. But we are trying to ramp it up a bit. We want to reach out to the National audience there through TV. Wouldn't you know it - a relative of hers just happens "coincidentally" to have worked for TV in that very country and has contacts there as well.
We have already had discussions with this relative about ways to deliver more programming. More will happen on Monday as we look into details over the weekend. Urs Leuzinger will be communicating regarding the details. We are eager for many good things to come about because of this!
