Thanks to Salvador, I am now on Pownce and can check out what it has to offer in the form of social networking. From the brief view I have given it, it seems to offer a twitter like experience with the added benefits of being able to send files. I am however reserving judgment until I can use it a bit and have more friends there to make the experience helpful.
