Relationships Change Us

We often think that when we have completed our study on one, we know all about two, because "two is one and one."

We forget that we still need to make a study of "and."
- Arthur Eddington

We need to carefully think about relationships. When we align ourselves with others we change.

This change can be good or bad. It is seldom neutral.

As Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

We effect each other. What we do and say makes a difference. What others say and do effects us. We need to look for and nurture relationships that "sharpen" us and not those that just make us dull.
