What can take God’s love away?

What if you forget to pray

What if all the things you do
are far less than good and true?
What can take God’s love from you?
Nothing, nada, nix

What if all you try falls flat
comes not close to to where you’re “at”
 is love removed if you’re a rat?
Nothing, nada, nix

 Is there a power strong enough?
Nothing, nada, nix
Is there a problem that is too tough?
Nothing, nada, nix

Can God’s love ever be reversed?
Nothing, nada, nix
Can something cause God’s love to burst?
Nothing, nada, nix

When the devil’s voice berates
is that a power that’s too great
to take take God’s love and to negate
Nothing, nada, nix

God’s love has no off switch
How can it be stopped?
What can cause its stoppage
Nothing, nada, nix
