Songwriting can be learned

I got a really good guitar not so long ago. I have been playing Guitar (and the capital is on purpose because that is how I see it) since 1976.

Since 1976 I have also been a songwriter - the songs were pretty bad - but then as now still so many years since my drive on play of Guitar is to create something new. This means in effect I am a songwriter who just happens to use guitar as the main tool to express it.

This is at least to me clear as whenever I play another instrument I never try to do anything else other than write something new.

To date I have written tunes on the piano and on the Mandolin and the Ukulele.

Fun stuff.

Songwriting can be learned. It is a skill and a mix of art and craft.

I am glad to be in the middle of craft an inspiration.
