And That Should Be God's Love?

 Do you see hunger? Do you see pain?

Are the heavens crying every time it rains?

Will the evil that is done ever be contained?

If this shows the love of God then I must be insane

So many questions, so many fears

All seems uncertain. so many tears

Where are you God, distant or near?

Is this what love looks like?

I am forsaken, I am alone

I am rejected all on my own

Like a pariah have been disowned

Is this what love looks like?
