Overflow
Seeing yet blind, hearing but deaf
Seek without find, right without left
High minus low, below no above
Stop never go, Life without love

Half a life means a life never lived
50% leaves too little to give
Choose instead life with eternity’s glow
Come to the One who makes cups overflow

Sleep without dreaming. pain no relief
An existence that’s teeming with facts - not belief
peering through eyes where the vision is blurred
searching for meaning but never assured

Never quite certain that certain exists
drawing the curtain on all hopes of bliss
Choose instead meaning, acceptance and love
come to the One who has come from above

Emmanuel God with us
Life is found in Jesus

Half of a life’s really no life at all
to 50% there is no one who’s called
come to the One who has fullness to give
come now to Jesus, the Saviour - and live
